Ok, so my first attempt at real food for a year...
Bought some boneless chicken thighs...
...there was 4, plus some carrots, onions and mushrooms.
Already had semi skimmed milk (125 mls), olive oil, chicken Gravy granules, black pepper, salt and garlic granules/powder. Oven 180c
So I fried the seasoned chicken thighs in a swirl of olive oil, just to seal the meat and placed in an oven dish. Then chopped the veg and cooked it in the same pan afterwards for 5 mins - added the made up half a pint of gravy (4 heaped teaspoons as per instructions) then the milk plus a quarter of teaspoon of the garlic powder, heated it all together, added salt an pepper to taste.
I then poured this on top of the chicken and put it in the oven for 45 mins. You know what? It actually worked! Lazy chicken casserole can also be made into a super lazy soup - chop the chicken smaller and add water - did this with the leftovers.
Lazy Salads from Asda
Well I can't cook everyday... so these are definitely worth a try.
2 for £3.47 - yep, they're a winner!
